Friday, June 2, 2017 was the day that forever changed our lives. It's the first time someone in our little circle (my immediate family) was diagnosed with Cancer. Never in our lives did we think that the one who'd be fighting this battle would be our sweet, lovable, cuddle bear, Ethan. From literally one day to the next, he went from being a healthy 4-year old boy to being diagnosed with Leukemia. Things like blood transfusions, chemo, IV's, long-hospital days have suddenly become a part of our everyday lives.
Since the ER visit when we first realized that something was wrong with our little Super Ethan, I started taking pictures and documenting Ethan's journey, before I even knew the severity. I feel this need to capture and document every moment, as a way to honor his life and bravery.
We are a faith-based family who loves God and we are relying on him to get us through this. As a family, we are 100% committed to Ethan and his recovery. There's nothing we won't do to see him through this phase of his incredible little life. We're using this CaringBridge website to keep family and friends updated in one place, and to document Ethan's bigger-than-life story.
