Welcome to an expression of love for Sullivan (Sully or Bubby) Farrar from his Manna and Paw. Sully fought a courageous battle against leukemia (ALL) on his Journey to Life. Please read his story.



Sully was born on May 1, 2007. His Journey to Life began on July 11, 2007, when the leukemia manifested itself. His Journey changed on August 2, 2008, becoming his Journey of Life in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sully was our seventh grandchild. We love them all. Sully, our Bubby, as he fought his battle, demonstrated such a sweet spirit. Oh, how Sully taught us. He taught us that no matter how painful life can be, there is reason to smile. Bubby showed us a toughness of spirit that was a gift from God. Grumble and complain , he did not. Love, enjoy people and life, he did. Sully taught us about faith, about waiting on God, about light in the midst of the darkness.

Sully traveled a Journey to Life. The road he travelled, the destination to which he went, were not the journey we wanted. Sully courageously made the Journey. Now, he has embarked on a greater Journey, the Journey of Life, Eternal Life. On this journey the road has been made straight, the mountains have been flattened, the rough spots have been made smooth. He is in God's presence, safe in the arms of Christ.

Sully lived fifteen months. Yet, as many of you have written, and his great aunt recently wrote, "Sully touched more hearts in his short time than most do in decades." Thank you God for touching our hearts through this magnificent life. Thank you for giving us Sully.

Thank you, all of you, for your prayers, your messages, your gifts to St. Jude. Thank you for loving Sully, for loving Tabitha, Jason, and Hannah (see their site, http://sullivanfarrar.com (http://sullivanfarrar.com/)).

Becuase of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "he Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.
