Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Sue.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Thank you for visiting.

This past August 2017, Sue was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma and carcinomatosis with an unknown primary origin (the doctors believe either ovaries or pancreas/upper GI tract).  Since then, she has undergone several chemotherapy treatments at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, but chemotherapy is no longer controlling her cancer.  Sue has decided to discontinue treatment and enter hospice care.  Your love, support, and words of encouragement for Sue are very much appreciated.

Sue passed away the morning of February 21, 2018, at our home.  It was peaceful, and we were by her side and holding her hand.  She died knowing that she was loved and taken care of.  She was a beautiful, kind soul.  We will miss her deeply.
