This is Sue's son Bill. Mom is having a rough time. She is in the Glenbrook Hospital ICU, using a ventilator to help with her breathing. As many of you know she had a knee surgery on August 25th. The surgeon said her knee was in worse shape than expected but that the surgery went well.
Mom was moved to rehab and started the difficult path back to being able to walk but last Friday night/Saturday morning she suffered a fall and bumped her head. After being transferred to Glenbrook, she was admitted to a regular room but began experiencing respiratory distress and was moved to the ICU.
Mom is quite sick. We ask that you refrain from visits for the time being. She needs your prayers and good thoughts. I will read your messages to her, even though she is heavily sedated, and I hope they will give her comfort.
