On May 12, 2020 Sue awakened Becky @ 6:00 am to sounds of choking. Becky found Sue in the living room sitting on the couch talking nonsense and pointing to her cheek. 911 was called and Sue was whisked off to the hospital. Sue was intubated, sedated, scanned and tested. Later she was extubated and had an MRI. There was no bleed or a stroke but a tumor was found in her right frontal lobe which was affecting her speech and swallowing. A biopsy was done and the diagnosis was a glioblastoma. Sue will now have radiation and chemo to reduce the size of the tumor.
