Sue found a lump in her breast a few weeks ago.  She had to have a diagnostic mammogram.  They found the lump to be suspicious and ordered a biopsy.  The biopsy revealed stage 2A invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast (breast cancer) on January 26th.  The cancer is HER2 Positive.  She has met with a surgeon, Dr. Diana Hook; a chemotherapy doctor, Dr. Paula Ryan; and her primary care doctor, Dr. Rhavna Reddy.  She has also met with a Dr. Christine Lee who will also be helping with her chemotherapy.  Sue has been told that she will have to have chemotherapy once every 3 weeks for 5-6 hours a day.  She is having an MRI tomorrow, 2/7/2021.  She will be having her chemotherapy port put in this coming Tuesday, 2/9/2021.  She believes that they will be starting her chemotherapy this coming Friday, 2/12/2021.  She will be having surgery 18 weeks after her chemotherapy has started.  Overall, she has a very positive attitude, and she is planning to fight this all the way!  She would appreciate any prayers for a full recovery without metastasis!
