Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. My mom went in for a hysterectomy on February 15th and on February 16th, as we were preparing to go home, we got the shock of a lifetime. They found cancer in her fallopian tubes and ovaries and would need to go back in to do a debulking/staging surgery within the next two days. We were shocked, her doctors were shocked!! She was officially diagnosed with stage 3C Fallopian Tube Cancer-which is basically categorized as Ovarian Cancer. The good news is she was optimally debulked-meaning they got out all tumors and traces of cancer (to the visible eye). She will start chemo soon.
