Mom and Dad are in Phoenix for the winter. It has been a dream of theirs since Dad had a stroke almost 17 years ago. They left just after Canadian Thanksgiving and have been enjoying the drier weather and sunny climate. The winters up here are hard on Dad as his leg has a lot of pain. The time down in Phoenix has been great as they have visited many museums and touristy places.
The problems started on Monday, I guess. Mom got an appointment to see a doctor on Tuesday. Dad's leg was red and hot. That is always a concern as it could be another blood clot, or something else equally as terrifying. However, Mom and Dad DO have good insurance. So Mom took him to a doctor who said it looked like cellulitis and insisted that Dad go into the Hospital...
