Well, Friends, Family..this surely is not something we ever imagined we'd be doing! Steve had discovered a large "lump" in his neck some time ago. Things changed and the doctor did a surgical biopsy last Wednesday. It is cancer. There are many tests, scans and scopes to follow. All we know is that it is not good, and it did not come from the lymph glands. It has metastasized from somewhere else, into his neck. We are fervently seeking medical expertise and having further testing done to find more answers. We will see an oncologist next Tuesday for his treatment plan, i.e. chemo. Please join us in prayer as Steve begins the most important journey of his life. This story is for His glory and His fame. Our God is mighty, willing, and able to heal.
Romans 12:12 says "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." This is what we CAN do.
