Welcome to Steve's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

On July 31st after a fall, our dad was admitted to Tacoma General ER and was given a full workup, including head CT.  The CT revealed a large mass on his left frontal lobe and further tests were ordered.  After completion of multiple MRI's it was diagnosed as a primary (not in any other areas of his body) inoperable Glioblastoma.  This is an agressive terminal brain cancer with a life expectancy of 1-8 months.

The left frontal lobe affects your motor skills, speech, and many other aspects of your day to day functions. If you are wanting to get ahold of Steve, please be aware that he is having speech difficulty including, but not limited to,  slurring and aphasia (word searching or inability to find the right word due to damage of the brain).

We appreciate your love and support through this difficult time.

Love, The Talt Family
