Steve suffered from 12 days of severe headaches before visiting the Emergency Room at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa last Wednesday, Sept. 27th. He has been admitted to the hospital, and has been diagnosed with a lime-sized mass on front right side of his brain. He'll be undergoing brain surgery on Monday morning, Oct. 2nd to remove it and diagnose it further. At this point, that is all we know in terms of a diagnosis. There was a CT scan of the rest of his body, and nothing else of significance was found. Steve has been told by many credible sources that his surgeon, Wade Mueller, is the best neurosurgeon in the hospital and in the area. Dr. Mueller has performed 400 brain surgeries in the past year alone. We have met with the entire surgical team, and they are all extremely kind, devoted, patient and excellent all-around. Dr. Mueller explained that Steve can leave the hospital on Thursday, Oct. 5th at the earliest if all goes well and if he is strong enough. He will need 6 weeks of recovery before he is completely healed. Steve is in good spirits, and he is feeling positive about the surgery. We appreciate all of the prayers and messages that have been sent to express love and support. Steve can feel this unbelievable abundance of love and light.
