Steve was on a vacation with his wife, Cathy and his daughter Shannon and son in law Tim,  out west in Colorado, Wyoming and The Black Hills.  During their time in the Deadwood/Spearfish area of South Dakota, Steve suffered seizures while on the golf course in Spearfish.  He was taken to the Spearfish hospital where it was discovered that he has a mass on his brain.  He was then transported to the hospital  in Rapid City.  Once the seizures were under control and he was stable and appointments were made at Mayo, he was discharged to return home.   The following day he came to Mayo to begin this journey to take care of the brain mass.   Steve is currently at the Mayo Clinic preparing for surgery.   He has suffered weakness on the left side of his body, thus the mass is in the right frontal cortex.  We welcome all well wishes, messages and prayers for Steve and his family.  Thank you for visiting.
