Steve had a massive stroke due to blood clots to an artery in his neck on Thursday 9/29/16. He was airlifted to Barrows Neurological Hospital where he underwent surgery to remove the clots. The surgery was successful, but a subsequent MRI revealed significant damage to his left brain. The left brain controls speech and motor skills on his right side.
