In December 2020, Steve started to experience a dull stomachache. Visiting his doctor, trying different medications to settle his stomach, and  undergoing  numerous medical tests, a CT scan on Jan 8 revealed evidence none of us were prepared to receive.  A mass compromising Steve’s pancreas and spleen, along with lesions on his liver were found.  A biopsy confirming pancreatic cancer followed on Jan. 19.   Steve has met with a local oncologist and our next step is Mayo in Rochester for a second opinion.   We ask for your prayers for Steve, our family and the medical teams as we move forward on this unexpected journey.
