Hi Everyone-Thank you so much for visiting our page. We thought this would be the best platform to keep everyone updated with pertinent information regarding Steve and his diagnosis.  Although painful to create/write, we know many of you have expressed concern over the past several days and like so many others who have had to create these pages, this is the easiest way to keep  you all posted. We sincerely appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time, it means so much to our family.  So here goes. 


As many of you have probably heard by now,  Steve was admitted into Sanford Health in Fargo, ND on Thursday, May 17th, as a result of his recent diagnosis in April of Esophageal Cancer. 


Before treatment could occur, he needed a procedure that included placement of a feeding tube, which was correctly placed on Friday, May 18th. 
All was going well after the procedure, which took over 2 hours and was a bit complicated based on his past history. Saturday was a good day where he was able to walk a bit and even take in a few visitors; home was on the horizon but opted to stay for one more day, as measure of precaution.  
This decision ultimately saved his life and his is fighting hard in ICU to make a full recovery before the next round of treatment can occur.
