Steven was diagnosed with Scleroderma about 17 years ago. Scleroderma can cause hardening and tightening of the skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. At that time Steven was only given 5 years to live, being the stubborn man that he is, he has surpassed that with a vengeance. April 4, 2017 Steven took a fall and hit his head resulting in a hospital stay. Thankfully the head injury has healed but while in rehab his kidney's started to fail. The doctors started dialysis 3 times a week. Currently Steven is at the Select Hospital in Sioux Falls until a room opens up at a Nursing Home in Sioux Falls.
