Steve suffered a stroke in the early hours of Saturday, May 19. He had rolled out of bed and we were unable to get him back to bed due to severe weakness on his entire left side. I called an ambulance and they transported him to United (Allina) Hospital in St. Paul. Initially they did not suspect a stroke following a CT scan. A later MRI confirmed a stroke that impacted a large area of the brain. He has no movement in his left arm, nor left leg.
