Some years ago Steven had some spots and tissue removed, it was cancerous, so they removed lymph nodes also. All seemed fine until last fall when he had what he thought was a nasty stomach  virus. It did not go away.   Not too concerned until he just couldn't eat any more in July.  
The doctor was direct.  "You have  stage four melanoma,  It is in you're abdomen , displacing your intestines".  Terminal.
