Steve was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia on June 27,2016 after suffering from the "flu" since June 4.  He spent a few days in the hospital June 27 - 29. He chose to NOT start with traditional chemo and with the support of wonderful Drs he started Alternative treatments. . After  weeks with Alternatve Treatment alone, the naturpath Dr told us we needed something stronger and more targeted. On July 13 he was admitted again to St A's in Bismarck with pneumonia. During that week we finished up some research on other treatments and treatment centers. We chose a clinic in Santa Barbara thanks to Judy Glawe who was there at the time with a friend. The clinic does Alternative treatments as well as immunotherapy.  On Sunday July 17 he was released from the hospital and we hopped a plane to Denver with Joe "chaperoning" us.  (Thank you Joe). We got our passports with the help of  Mitch LaFleur and Wes in Senator Thunes office in Rapid City.  We need passports to go to Mexico when his platelets stabilize for a treatment that has been on a clinical trial in the U.S. But hasn't made it through the FDA process yet.  I will try to keep you updated here as best I can. Your prayers and support are carrying us through. Thank you all so much.
