Steve Latimer Steve's Journey

Dear Family and  Friends, 

So this is the story  of how Steve is kicking cancer's ass! We hope that you will send your prayers, positive thoughts and energy his way as he rides through this new path in life. Whether you know him from iron working, off-road racing or through all of the projects that he helps his friends and family with, what you know about Steve is that he truly is going to give this fight everything it takes to win! And we will be sharing his journey with you so that you can cheer him on. 

Where we are at now is round 3 of chemo. The first two rounds were tough - even more than we could imagine - but Steve made it through them. If a trip to the hospital could be a blessing in disguise, that's what happened. A few weeks ago, Steve had to go to the hospital due to complications from the chemo and his diabetes. That was God's opportunity to give us all the medical professionals and resources to help Steve control his diabetes to better manage the chemo. And even better, Steve had to get a CT scan at the hospital and it gave us a fantastic boost of optimism because it showed that the cancer is shrinking!! Although he doesn't love the chemo, it's  working!  

Next up, because the chemo is working and because the cancer is contained in one lung - they are going to add radiation to take it out. We ask that you join us in focusing your prayers and/or positivity to make this treatment work its magic.
