In February 2017, Dad started having some irritation in his scalp. On February 6, he started having severe pain in scalp and was diagnosed with Shingles. He was treated for it, but the lesions continued to worsen and his face started to swell. He was hospitalized twice, and last week he was seen by a dermatologist to do biopsies. We found out yesterday, 3/21/17 that the lesions are actually a rare type of cancer called Angiosarcoma. We are waiting on a PET scan and to see a specialist to find out next step. If you know our family, you know Dad is our rock! We are praying for the best and trusting God to lead us through this. I will update as we find out information.
