Why a rainbow? I have been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. I was deeply depressed and I heard the song "I Can See Clearly Now." It was my 1st realization that this beautiful song was written by somebody who had just come out of a deep depression. The lyrics were my glimmer of hope. "I can see clearly now the rain is gone; I can see all obstacles in my way; gone are the dark clouds that had me blind; it's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day. oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone; all of the bad feelings have disappeared; here is that rainbow I've been praying for; it's gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin' day; look all around there's nothing but blue skies; look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies;"
