Steve Aguirre

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 

 On Wednesday, March 29th Steve had heart surgery at HealthEast St Joe’s hospital which was followed by a placement of a pacemaker a couple days later. Steve returned home to rest and was doing well at home. He had started physical therapy and a couple weeks later his right foot started bothering him. He was admitted to HealthEast St John’s hospital this past Saturday and after tests were complete it was decided by the doctors on Tuesday to remove his right foot. He did well during surgery and is currently healing under sedation in the ICU.

Sue and Anita are the only visitors that can be in the ICU at this time and are asking that we use this CaringBridge site to keep family and friends informed of Steve’s recovery. They are asking for prayers as Steve has a long road to recovery ahead of him.  Thank you for visiting and for your prayers.
