Steve suffered a ruptured aortic aneurysm on June 1, 2017 and was air transported by UW Health Med Flight to St. Mary's where he underwent emergency surgery. He was then moved to ICU where he began his recovery. During his stay in the ICU visitation has been limited to immediate family but we look forward to having his friends visit as soon as he is moved out of the ICU. Bonnie (his sister) is serving as his spokesperson and helping keep things in order for him while he recovers.
