In January 2020 Stephanie notice a lump on the right side of her neck. She had it looked at and the doctor told her if it changed to go back in. A few months later she noticed that it was getting bigger. Two needle biopsies and a core biopsy later Stephanie was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. On August 17th, she met with a specialist. She has stage 1 papillary thyroid cancer. On September 3rd, she will have surgery to remove the thyroid, and all affected lymph nodes in the area.  She will be in the hospital for 1-3 days. Her treatment will consist of Radioactive Iodine. She will take a pill then have scans done the next day after that she will take the radioactive iodine pill. She will need to isolate for 3-5 days away from people and pets. After that there is no more treatment needed. She will be on thyroid medication for the rest of her life. This is the best news possible. We are surrounding her with love, positive and healing energy. We will use this site to share any updates with all of you. Please help share support for Stephanie. There will also be a go fund me page to help with lost wages and medical bills she will incur.  Any thing will help.
