Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In early May 2022 I noticed something that felt odd in my right breast. I would describe it feeling like little marbles in my breast. After sharing my findings with my mom soon after I discovered the changes, she encouraged me to get it checked out. I immediately was able to see my ob/gyn who then referred me along for a mammogram and ultrasound. The results of both the mammogram and ultrasound were given at the appointment. The radiologist began to show some concern related to their findings in my right breast and lymph nodes in my armpit. The same week I had a biopsy on my right breast and lymph nodes. The following Monday, May 23rd our worst fears were confirmed. I have breast cancer.

It is a scary diagnosis, but I have faith that my doctors, my family, my community of friends far and near,  and God will help me make it through this obstacle that has been put in front of me to overcome.

Please keep Theo, Eli, Abel and myself in your prayers as we navigate this new season as a family.
