Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.
Before Miss Stella was even born we knew this day would come . I cannot believe she will be 6 months old on February 9th . Stella has surprised us since birth. While the doctors at children's all gave us worst case scenerioes I always knew she was going to be a strong healthy baby !! I of course knew this because I was the lucky one to house her personal gym while in my belly . Stella defied the odds and was 7lbs 7oz at birth. She was breathing on her own and nursed immediately . We have managed to keep her healthy in her short little life so far . She is a happy little go getter . She started rolling early and never ceases to amaze all of us. She's still a little peanut and has grown slowly . But her excellent pediatrician always says " slow and steady wins the race " . And so far Stella has been leading the pack in this race . She loves to talk and smile. Her favorite thing to do is study faces. This little stinker is going to be one of those children we have to remind to eat during meals, not talk !!! She's so full of personality and brings so much joy ! Words could not even begin to describe the love we have for our Stella Grace. I also cannot begin to describe the feelings as parents we have thinking that our little princess being operated on very soon . Open heart surgery is scheduled for Monday February 8th just one day before she turns 6 months old . We know it's time , she's recently started sweating during feedings . You can tell its taking a lot of energy out of her and she's eating less but more frequently . She's not as active and not her normal smiley self . We are ready for this to be behind us,and for our happy girl to be healthy and see her grow again like she has been. Thank you everyone for the support we have had since her birth . It's heart warming !! ❤️
