I'll start from the beginning. My parents found the first mass in my breast when I was 5 and so my journey began. At the age of 17, I found another mass and after several test and surgery to remove the mass, I was diagnosis with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy at the age of 17. My senior year of high school was filled with surgery, and chemo. Yet during this time, I never doubted God's hand on my life. I was told that due to the amount of chemo I had to have, I wouldn't be able to have children. Yet, I have two wonder boys. After 21 years of having one breast, I decided to have reconstruction done. 7 years have passed. Two weeks ago I found another mass. After quickly contacting my doctors, having an ultrasound and biopsy done, the results came back as me having breast cancer again. It's the same type, on the same side, in the same spot. And so my journey begins again. This page is to help support women who are on the same journey. It is also to allow family and friends to follow my journey.
