On September 23, Stanley and Kaydell were in a car accident on 75 South near Calhoun.  They were on their way home from Chattanooga celebrating Grandparent's Day with their youngest grandchild.  Dad was airlifted to Erlanger Trauma One Center in Chattanooga .  Mom was taken to the Hamilton Medical Center via ambulance.  Mom's injuries are:  a large laceration on her forehead, broken lumbar traverse process L1,2,3 ,  a small bone in her left hand, and lots of cuts and bruises.  She was release later on that night.  Dad's injuries are:  a brain bleed, a broken C2 in the neck, facial fractures, and he has been on a ventilator since the accident.
