As many of you are aware, Stan has been fighting a long term battle with prostate cancer.   On Friday, October 7th, he was released from Methodist Hospital and enrolled in Hospice Care.   On Saturday morning, he suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling at home.   His condition has steadily declined.    As a result of this injury, our family has decided to move to a comfort care phase of treatment.    We expect that he will be moved from HCMC in the next day or so to a Hospice Care facility and we hope to provide updates here whenever possible.   

We want to thank all of you for your kind, comforting words, thoughts and prayers.   It has been a difficult time for us and it helps to know that Stan has such wonderful family/friends to support him/us in this time of sadness.
