In the early morning on Wednesday, July 6th Stacie woke up and went to the bathroom, instead of crawling back in bed she moved to the couch (this is normal for her, she loves her couch!). Sometime between then and when Dave got up to get ready for work she suffered a stroke. He said she was laying on the floor next to the couch and he knew something was wrong because she never sleeps on the floor. Thank God she did end up on the floor or he would have probably assumed she was sleeping and left for work. She had no real signs that anything was wrong prior to that day other then a headache, which is also normal for her. She wouldn't have thought anything different.
We will never know when she had the stroke and at this point it doesn't matter. She is a fighter and if anyone can come out of this its Stacie Nelson!
