On March 5th, our family was given some terrible news - Stacie, our wonderful mother/wife/daughter/sister/friend, was given the news that no woman wants to hear: she has breast cancer. Thankfully, due to a routine checkup and her decision to have a mammogram, they found two spots early. The downside is that surgery is still required. Though we won't know the full extent of what we are dealing with until after the surgery is completed and the carcinoma can be fully tested, we are hopeful and positive that we will have a favorable outcome.
