Welcome to my CaringBridge website. I am using it to keep family and friends updated all in one place.

In 2018 I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Sept 2018 I started RCHOP chemotherapy and was out of work and on the mend until Mar 2019!

My wonderful doctors at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and I were confident I would be in remission for at least 5 years.
Fast forward to July 2020 and my cancer was back.  I ended up getting a true second opinion and found myself at Wilmot Cancer Institute out of the University of Rochester.  A good 1.5 hour drive....one way! It has been worth it!

I started a different Chemotherapy regiment with Dr. Barr, he and his team were and have been amazing. I completed 7 cycles of Chemo and am again in remission (Feb 2021).

February 27, 2021 I start the next and hopefully final step to keep me in remission for a much much longer period of time.  I met with Dr. Regan and the Stem Cell Transplant team and on this day the treatment starts.  It will be a shorter road to recovery I hope, but it will be worth it!

I know many of you don't use social media and even so some people just don't want all the details and updates.

So here I am, if you want to see what's happening this is the place to be.

I appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
