Katherine Broadway So Much Love!

My journey with cancer started on July 2, 2016. It hasn't even been 2 months yet and already we are overwhelmed by the love and support of family and friends, and are watching with expectation how God is using this difficultly to bring us together and to glorify Him. I have hesitated to start a journal, not really wanting to acknowledge my new reality,  but this is not just a bad dream that we will wake from.  The time has come and I need a place to communicate what is going on with the army of prayer warriors and friends who love us!  In 2001, Scott and I prayed over which scripture would be our marriage passage and decided on Ephesians 3:14-21. The promises of God's love that surpass knowledge, His ability to do "immeasurably more than all we ask or image" has been consistent in our lives. We have so many stories and examples of His faithfulness in creating our family, I cannot help but trust beyond my reason that God has a plan in all of this. He loves me and my family and He is good. I trust Him in all of this, the good and the bad. This faith comes because of your prayers and the confidence in Who God is, Who He has been and will continue to be, no matter what. "In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence." Ephesians 3:12
