Solan Robinson

Monday April 04, 2022 Solan was discovered to have high blood pressure following a routine outpatient procedure.  When he was taken to his pediatrician’s office later in the afternoon his blood pressure had risen to 210/142. We  took him to Denver to Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children where he was admitted to pediatric ICU. Blood work and renal ultrasound show that he has little or no kidney function. He will start dialysis while awaiting a kidney transplant.
Solan is an amazing 14 year old boy.  He was born with several health challenges but has never let anything slow him down.  He was born with Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome and schizencephaly.  He has undergone over 14 surgeries and we thought he was done with surgery. Solan is tough and he will come through this as easily as he has everything else.
