We are so happy for Sierra and Ryan who just welcomed a brand new baby boy into their family! Right now they are in need of help from our ward family.
Sierra has been in the hospital for a week, and will be on strict bed rest for 2 more weeks with the new baby when she is released to go home.
Ryan has been burning the candle at both ends, pulling early mornings and late nights for work, so he can play the roles of both mom and dad to the 4 kids at home.
We've all heard the saying "It takes a villiage..." We have a lot of young families in our ward who can probably relate to the stress of trying to find a babysitter just for one date night let alone weeks...
What a perfect opportunity to be the Lord's hands. And many hands make light work! If a dozen of us can find even one little way to help, whether it be a play date at the park, doubling a dinner recipe, or sitting with the kids through a movie, all the little things add up to make a world of difference for Sierra and Ryan and the kids.
I've put together a sign up with a few options for little ways we might be able to help over the next couple of weeks. Please prayerfully read through it to see if there is anything you might be willing or able to do.
