The past few weeks have been a bit of a blur. After a persistent but mild sore throat I recently learned that I have cancer. The good news is It is supposed to be one of the most curable or at least survivable kinds. I am at MD Anderson Cancer Center with Jenni and we are being advised on the best way to deal with this. The team here has been incredible. It's the most efficient and caring hospital we have ever seen. They are experts at helping to cure head and neck cancers. They are in the process of determining the best course of action and I will post updates here to keep everyone informed. I am truly optimistic and confident I will get through this curve ball in life that has been thrown my way. I cant tell you how appreciative I am for all the love and support that has already been sent my way by all of you. One Love, Shriver
