Initial dislocation recovery, Sept 2020

Ann Wiles Shoulders for Ann

First post: Nov 1, 2020 Latest post: Nov 15, 2020
Welcome to Ann Wiles's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

11-14-20 UPDATE: Ann's healing has taken a couple of steps backwards. She is in immediate need of physical therapy to prevent further damage to her healing shoulder. She must pay out-of-pocket. We are requesting donations to help make this necessity a reality.

10-22-20 UPDATE: "Sometimes, when it rains, it pours." As if Ann's injury and necessary operation isn't enough, her father just passed away.

Here's the Shoulders for Ann backstory:

In early September, 2020, Ann experienced a complete dislocation of her left shoulder for the 4th time in her life.

It required her to go to the emergency room in order to put it back in place.

Unfortunately, she now requires surgery so that it will no longer happen again.

The costs will be outstandingly high. We have published Phase 1 needs in the "Ways to Help" section. We are asking for assistance needed by December 30th.

Ann was unable to maintain her job and is having great difficulty finding work with her shoulder in such a weakened state. Furthermore, she is a college student who really needs to dedicate as much time as possible to her schoolwork.

We would greatly appreciate prayers and donations in order to help her access the surgery and physical therapy she needs.

The Caring Bridge "Ways to Help" tab is the link to Ann's GoFundMe account.

We are also asking you to please share this Caring Bridge site with those you know. We believe that God will move hearts to give. Please help us spread the word.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  -Ann and Marcus
