Shirley Parnell

In early November of 2020, suspicious markers were seen on some of Mom’s yearly exams. Further testing identified two different types of cancer in two different areas of the body (breast/lymph nodes). She was quickly referred to MD Anderson where further testing revealed that the cancers were linked and had begun to mutate. MD Anderson worked quickly to put a plan of treatment in place: 20 weeks of chemotherapy, surgery and then radiation are the PLAN as of December 2020. 


We are so THANKFUL that you have chosen to follow Mom’s journey - to encourage her, pray for her, fight FOR her and ALONGSIDE she and Daddy (David Parnell). We will use this Caring Bridge site to keep you updated as well as to offer you a place where you can send she and Daddy notes and love. 


Mom and Dad need your support and we all truly appreciate your friendships, your words of HOPE and being able to stay connected through all of this!
