Wed, Dec 16 she took a hard fall and broke her femur bone 3-4 inches below her left hip. Surgery was Thurs, Dec 17 at 4:30 pm to insert rods to stabilize the break. She was back in her room by 7 and sitting up by 9. They had her walking this morning, very minimally, it was painful as expected. As you all know she’s got a strong spirit and will conquer this setback. She did get some Christmas stollens made, but not enough according to her. We will keep you updated on her progress. Again, we thank you for your prayers.
