Shirley Kawell

On Monday August 9th, Shirley’s neighbor heard a pounding on the wall around 9 pm. He was concerned as Mom is usually in bed, but thought he heard her calling out Bridget’s name (Shirley’s landlord who lives next door). He walked around the house and rang the doorbell. They became worried and opened the door. She had fallen down 4 steps backwards. They called 911. She was transported to Mankato ER. She had a broken femur in her leg. She was in a lot of pain and being our typical Mom, she never complained. Check back often to see updates on Shirley’s progress.
