Shira's Hebrew name is Shira Ilana bat haRav Dina v'Eliezer. She had a brain tumor removed on Wednesday 2/21. According to the neurosurgeon, the surgery was an unqualified success! The tentative diagnosis is olfactory neuroblastoma; more will be known about the tumor (and any possible future treatments) after the pathology reports are available. (More/current info is available in journal updates.)
