Sherry Haugen

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. As many of you know Sherry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer in 2014. Her treatment required chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. She continues to be followed by Dr. Raja, her oncologist and Dr. Robinow her radiation oncologist. This week Sherry was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. The cancer has spread to her lungs and to her right shoulder. Treatment will be as follows: She will be taken off her current medication, Arimidex, and in two weeks will start taking Exemestane  . Sherry is also being considered for a Clinical Drug Trial which is being submitted this week also. Sherry is scheduled for a MRI of her brain on Wednesday, Nov. 8th and will also be scheduled for a ct scan to measure the lesions and tumors.
