James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Friday July 21 Dave went in for back surgery, after 10 hours of surgery, 10 screws and rods later he got to his room about 11:30pm it took them till 5am to stabilize him. during his 5 days in the hospital, I became jaundiced from scalp to toes, very itchy skin, loss of appetite, and dark urine. So after a sonogram, MRI, ERCP and an Endoscopic Ultrasound: They have found a tumor the size of a golf ball on my pancreas, The Biopsy result on August 3, 2016 has given me the Diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer.
I have not seen an Oncologist yet, so I have no current treatment plan, but I will soon. Even though this diagnosis seems scary, I truly am so blessed to have a wonderful husband, awesome son, beautiful sister, great brother, and my amazing dad all standing beside me with love and persistant prayers of unending support!
I have a long road ahead, but I am not afraid. I know God is a faithful father and him I trust.
