On August 13th 2019 Shelly went to united hospital for her scheduled surgery to reverse her colostomy. Things were well until Thursday morning. Shelly had lost her pulse, couldn't get a blood pressure reading and her heart dropped to under 30 beats a minute. They rushed her into emergency surgery, where they discovered internal bleeding. She had lost 2 liters or more of blood. They removed her spleen thinking that was the cause of the internal bleeding. During the surgery, we lost Shelly for 15-20 minutes. Doctors performed cpr and were able to resuscitate her. She is still unstable, but is making progress hour by hour. Please keep our mother Shelly in your prayers.
