Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Sheila has been in declining health, but things took a turn for the worse on Friday. She had a wound on her leg that was having trouble healing. She was unable to eat, walk unaided or even communicate on Friday. Joe called the ambulance and she was transported to Geissinger Community Medical Center. We hoped the antibiotics would correct the issues, but unfortunately that did not happen. Family has been arriving from near and far. All eight children are here and have had the opportunity to say goodbye. She has been visited by many grandchildren, nieces, great grandchildren and in laws. With great sadness, the decision was made to provide only comfort care. We are bringing her home to surround her with love and care.
