Sheila was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on April 28th of this year.  She was getting radiation early on because of the 5 tumors that she had.  Since early May she also received Chemo and is still get it daily along with IV chemo twice weekly.  Initially her pain was really bad (10) but now it's down to a controlled 3-4. 


She has improved quite a bit now and she is up and about walking about a mile most days.  Her cancer cell count is now down  to the point were she can have her stem cell transplant.
