Sharron was taken to Community Regional Medical Center ER on Friday, October 1 with stroke-like symptoms. After 24 hours of testing and observation it was determined she had experienced a stroke that is affecting the right side of her body including her speech, arm and leg. Cognitively, Sharron can track and understand conversations to her and around her and her memory does not appear to be affected at this time. She currently remains in the stroke unit at CRMC and plans are underway for her to me moved to an inpatient rehabilitation facility when she becomes stable. At this time the family has not been able to be present with her due to Covid restrictions in California.
