This site is being set up to let you know the progression of my health problems. I was diagnosed with kidney failure and referred to Virginia Mason hospital in September. I had to get some tests and get vaccinations before I could be considered for transplant. Lisa and I went to Seattle to the hospital for meetings and tests all day. We stayed the night and got home before too late. Next step was to start dialysis.
I hadn't gotten my mammogram so I made that appointment but got a call it had to be redone. Then was told it looked like cancer. Went to my car and bawled my face off. A girl came and talked to me and I had to get it together. Went and had my nails done. Well! they needed it. Now back for a biopsy then to my regular doctor. Bob and the girls went with me, to learn I had breast cancer. Hit with a brick is how I felt. To top it off I was called that morning by a nurse from Virginia Mason hospital to tell me I was a good candidate for a new kidney. But I have to kick the cancer first, and I need to start dialysis very soon. Will post updates below as things change. I am going to be strong and fight. 💜 Sharon
