My mom, Sharon was diagnosed with lung cancer on January 19, 2018. After scans and a biopsy they determined it was small cell lung cancer. This is a very aggressive cancer. When they first discovered it she just had nodes surrounding her lungs. It has already spread to her liver, a mass on her lung and the top of her skull and around her esophagus. She is currently doing chemotherapy. They say this will not cure her, just hopefully give her more time. The diagnosis is stage 4, terminal lung cancer. I will keep everyone posted as I get updates.
